Wheel Balancing & Alignment
Wheel alignment and Wheel Balancing are often confused and so here is a quick guide to what they are and why they are important.
Incorrect wheel-alignment can result in rapid, irregular tyre wear and can even affect the handling and safety of the vehicle. If you are experiencing this sort of tyre wear or a 'pulling' away from a straight line when driving, your wheels are probably out of alignment and need correcting as soon as possible.
Wheels that are not balanced correctly produce a vibration whilst driving which you can feel transmitted through the steering wheel, seat or floor. The result is a premature wearing of suspension and steering components, rotating parts and tyres. Once again, it is important to correct this as soon as possible in order to avoid further expensive repairs. We offer a free wheel balance and wheel alignment check in Bristol.
